I live in Tokyo and work as a Software Engineer at Google Search. I'm originally from Jakarta, Indonesia.

Some things that I'm interested in:

• Reading. I try to read widely to understand how various people across fields think and what's happening in the world.
• Exploration. I love to travel and expand my horizons. I also maintain an ever-growing list of restaurants to try on Google Maps (recommendations always welcome!).
• How to live well. Life has many dimensions yet we have limited time. I think about this tension a lot and I wrote about it, but I'm still figuring things out as I go.
• AI. The pace of progress is staggering, overwhelming, and exciting all at once. I genuinely believe it will change how we work and live.
• Writing. I have recently started writing more because it forces me to think deeper and crystallize my thoughts.
• Hiking. There is something about being in nature that makes you in a completely different mental space and reset. I found it very calming.
